Announcement: Rule update regarding OC submissions

Hello fellow D.Gray-man fans.

We, the admins, have an announcement to make regarding D.GM-OC deviations.

We have noticed that a lot of deviations featuring D.Gray-man original characters have nothing to do with D.Gray-man whatsoever (besides the "this is my DGM OC" in the artist's comments). We mean that these so-called D.Gray-man characters can't be linked to D.Gray-man through any of the elements in the drawing and might as well be from any series imaginable.

Therefore we want make a slight alteration to the rules of submitting OCs do this club:

From now on, only deviations with an explicit link to D.Gray-man will be accepted.

In practice this would mean:

-Obvious elements that link back to D.Gray-man: the uniform, golem, black order emblem, ...
-Characters of D.Gray-man

And with obvious we mean: don't hide them (a shadow, blurred face, barely noticable) or make them so small you need a magnifying glass.


I hope you can agree with this new rule, we're a D.Gray-man club after all. If you want to submit your OC to clubs, there are plenty of general (anime/OC) art clubs on dA.
